Thorncrown Chapel is Eureka Springs’ premier wedding location. Since 1980 people have come from all over the world to get married at this beautiful glass cathedral in the woods. Surrounded by beautiful rock formations and a canopy of trees, the chapel provides an unforgettable setting for your wedding ceremony. Because Thorncrown has over 6,000 square feet of glass and 425 windows, your wedding can be outdoors and indoors in air-conditioned comfort at the same time.

FAQ

  • Please contact us by phone, email, or fill out the contact form on our website to begin the process. All weddings are scheduled over the phone and confirmed by email.

  • We don’t take traditional deposits. Reservations are secured with full payment at booking, unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance.

  • The chapel has public visiting hours 7 days a week March-December so there is no need to schedule a tour. We recommend calling the chapel to verify the visiting hours, as hours do vary based on the wedding schedule.

  • A rehearsal is not included, which helps keep your experience simple and cost-effective. Our chapel employees are highly experienced, and all details are confirmed in advance through the wedding day verification form.

    If a rehearsal feels necessary for your ceremony (larger weddings, musicians, etc.), the chapel may be reserved for a 1-hour rehearsal subject to availability. Rehearsals are $695 and must be reserved separately from your wedding. A chapel minister or host will be present to help coordinate. 

  • We will request that you fill out our wedding day verification form approximately one month prior to your wedding day. This form will verify details about the minister, bridal party, music, and all other details regarding your ceremony to ensure the chapel employee knows how to best assist you in your special day.‍‍ ‍

    • Only artificial flowers may be used in the aisle; no confetti, bird seed, dried petals etc may be dropped inside or outside the venue.

    • We are not able to accommodate any large decorations such as trees of any kind, arbors, or crosses.

    • Open flames are not permitted, with the exception of the unity ceremony. LED candles are welcome.

    • Food, drink, and smoking are not allowed on the property, with the exception of water in a closed container.

    • Drones may only be operated by a licensed individual.

    • Glass containers, vases, and similar items may not be used as decorations.

    • Please refrain from using tape, command hooks, or any adhesive materials on the pews.

    • The ferns provided are part of the decor and may not be moved or altered.
